Another step down, only a few left

On Sept. 11 we mailed out documents to the Chinese Consulate in Chicago and San Fransisco. The documents were returned today from the Consulate in Chicago with their approvals of our documents. We are waiting on the return of the document from San Fransisco. We had to mail Jennifers birth certificate to that one because she was born in the state of Washington. Chicago is the one for the midwest. Once we get the certificate from San Fransisco we will be going through and making sure everything is done and sending to our agency. Almost there.

Wow, I don't think it is possible for the whole process to be any more complicated. I dont know if this encouraging or discouraging, but one of my suitemates was adopted from Korea, and it took her parents a total of seven years for the adoption process to be complete. So if takes you two less than three years or two it will be a blessing. Hang in there!
